By partnering with organizations invested in their own communities, we hope to help start powerful conversations about the realities of sex trafficking, propelling the community to get involved locally through your nonprofit work.
What types of organizations can apply?
Three $5,000 grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations fighting sex trafficking in Washington, Oregon, and California who are providing prevention, intervention, advocacy, restoration, and/or survivor services.
What does the process look like?
1. Please review the application guidelines below before applying
2. Applications for the community grants will be reviewed by the Beneficiary Committee and awarded to organizations we believe best align with our mission
3. Beneficiary recipients are notified in the Spring of 2023

What is the Beneficiary Committee?
The Beneficiary Committee consists of the Pedal the Pacific staff and Leadership Team, Board Members, and members of the 2022 Pedal the Pacific team
Application Guidelines
- Pedal the Pacific will consider organizations that fight sex trafficking located or providing services in Washington, Oregon, and California.
- Community Grants are designated for a specific program within a non-profit organization involving prevention, intervention, advocacy, and/or survivor services.
- We ask that organizations chosen for the 2023 Community Grant will coordinate or attend a presentation/fundraising event in partnership with the 2023 Pedal the Pacific team between June 10 and July 28, 2023.
- If chosen for the 2023 Beneficiary Grant, all recipients are required to complete the Final Evaluative Report detailing the accomplishments and effectiveness of the grant.

Pedal the Pacific Community Grants financially support organizations along the Pacific Coast that fight sex trafficking through prevention, intervention, advocacy, restoration, and/or survivor services. If you know of an organization initiating these types of programs, nominate them here!

When are applications due?
Applications are due on December 18, 2022.
What should I expect from the Final Evaluative Report?
The Final Evaluative Report is a simple form consisting of questions regarding your programming and its success and effectiveness. We want to hear about how your organization is successfully fighting sex trafficking through your programs so we can share it with our teams and community!
What materials are needed to complete the application?
In addition to filling out the brief questionnaire, we require the organization's most recent form 990 and a 501c3 designation letter from the IRS.
How long will it take to process my application and when will the funds be distributed?
Beneficiaries will be notified and receive funding in the spring of 2023.
