Pedal the Pacific is an expensive and time-consuming commitment, and over the years we have recognized that those without equal access to funds and opportunities have been unable to participate. In response to the under representation of both Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) as well as those from various socioeconomic backgrounds in our program, we are launching two Equal Opportunity Scholarships for the 2021 team.
One scholarship will be awarded based on the demonstration of need and merit, and one will be reserved for BIPOC applicants regardless of need.
