I ride because I have the privilege to be an advocate for people who have been silenced. I want to be a catalyst for change and to educate my community on the devastating impact of sex trafficking.
I ride because I want to spread hope and make an impact. It is a privilege to educate and advocate about an issue that affects vulnerable communities and young women just like me.
I ride for those who have been silenced and denied the freedom to use their voice. I ride to learn more about the realities of sex trafficking and to discover ways to create meaningful change.
I ride to amplify the voices of survivors, educate others on how to recognize and prevent trafficking, and stand for the truth that people are not for sale.
When I learned about Pedal the Pacific, I knew that this would be a unique way to advocate and learn more about an issue I feel passionately about combating.
I ride because every person has inherent dignity that should be acknowledged and advocated for. And because there is so much more that I need to learn!
I ride for the younger me — the little girl who wasn’t heard. Today, I ride with purpose, using my voice for those who still can’t speak up for themselves.
